No
matter how bad the word ‘breakup’ may sound, but getting out of it isn't that
difficult if you really want to. It’s just a matter of emotional attachment,
and the one who can get over it quickly wins the battle.
It’s
an obvious behavioral trait of humans that whenever they are emotionally
attached to someone, s/he becomes the top most priority in their lives and rest
of the things are put on the back burner. This doesn't imply love or attachment
is a bad or frivolous emotion, but excess of everything is bad, and the same is
true in this case. They say that ‘love is blind’, but when love is done by complying
with a cerebral approach, it often fetches good. There are certain things that
are realized after a person has successfully shattered the trust and emotions,
but if one stays honest to oneself then the same can be identified much before.
Accepting a breakup is the most difficult thing as our heart will never allow
us to take negative vibes about the one we dearly love. But, one has to be strong
and tell honestly whenever one finds something fishy. The best part is when you
know everything about someone, sensing the deepest alterations isn't difficult,
and resultantly, you can check on one’s commitment level.
Here
are the tips that can be of great help:
v Self-Introspection: The
best way to get out of the worst breakup is to identify other things that interest
you and try to indulge in them. May it
be listening songs: not those that relate to your ex; indulging in a sport
activity that you are passionate about; getting absorbed in your favorite book;
and hanging around with friends and relatives, whom you ignored while hauling a
meaningless relation.
v Prioritize your
friends: One thing that can be of great help to
fight post-breakup depression is to maintain distance from your mutual friends
as most of them would try to dig into the matter rather than helping you to get
out of it.
v A big no to staying
aloof: Avoid being alone as it would naturally
pull your thoughts towards your broken relationship and can again put you in
trouble. Stay with friends, family members and relatives, and try to divert the
attention.
v Stay surrounded with
those who love you: Spend time with those,
who genuinely care and accept you even after knowing about your greatest
mistakes. A true person will never try to unearth your shabby past.
v Never restrain:
Don’t ever hold back from making new friends or getting close to someone. Don’t
fear instead, learn to judge from your past experiences.
v Listen to your instincts:
Before entering into a new relationship, make sure that your instinct allows.
Once a mistake is a mistake, but second time the same mistake becomes a choice,
or to be blatant, a crime. So learn from your experience and go ahead
confidently.
v Learn to forgive:
You can’t get out of it until you forgive the person. This doesn't mean that you
again become friends with the person, but you simply forgive and forget for the
sake of your own mental peace.
v Stay positive: No
advice can help you unless you stay positive. Try and stay in an ambiance giving
you genuinely positive vibes. Hit every destination that makes you feel light
such as a library, gym, theater religious place, etc. The surroundings play a
major role in influencing the mood of an individual.
v You are not
responsible: Never feel degraded for whatever
happened. Simply move ahead with a strong belief in your heart that it happened
because it was destined to be, and God wanted to bless you with someone, who
really deserves your love.
Dedicatedly following the above mentioned tips can
help you to get out of a post-breakup depression. Many people get disheartened,
and often get into wrong habits believing that it would help them to move on,
but by doing so they are adding to their misery. Thus, avoid all the
negativities, identify your strengths and start following them. Never close the doors of your heart as you
never know what’s in store for you. Whenever you find that special someone with
whom you can relate, simply follow your instincts and go ahead without holding
behind any harsh feelings or meaningless emotional attachment with your ex. Slowly
and steadily you will find yourself come a long way from that breakup trap,
which didn't took anything from you, rather made you stronger and happier. J
